100 Experts from 30 Countries Participate in 4th International Conference for Mass Gatherings Medicine

​The Fourth International Conference for Mass Gatherings Medicine attracts considerable international participation by 100 national and international speakers from more than 30 countries to discuss the latest development in the field. It is noted that the conference will be organized by the Ministry of Health (MOH) under the gracious  patronage of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, May Allah protect him, from December 10th to 13th, 2019 in Jeddah.


“Through sharing the international experiences in this field, the conference aims to introduce the mass gathering healthcare model, highlighting the knowledge gaps requiring more research, as well as building capacities in human mass gatherings health and management-related topics,” stated MOH.

MOH added: “The conference targets health practitioners involved in mass gathering health and management, in addition to planners and organizers of various activities. The conference is being held under the theme: «Mass Gathering Healthcare Model», with a view to come up with a global framework and requirements of mass gathering health care, after introducing the national and international best practices and discussing the latest scientific developments in this field”.

It is worth mentioning that the conference is accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) with 33 Continuing Medical Education hours (CME), in addition to other 20 CME hours for affiliate workshops.
