According to Asir Health Affairs, over the previous months, a number of specialties have been introduced at Khamis Mushayt Maternity and Children Hospital. This comes as a continuation of the Ministry of Health's (MOH) efforts to improve its health and therapeutic services provided across the Kingdom's regions and provinces including the Affairs' hospitals.
The introduction of the specialties and sections aims to facilitate the beneficiaries' access to healthcare and to meet their needs. The new sections are: kidney, bones, skin and eyes. Also, the Affairs has activated the following sections: The Center for Developmental & Behavioral Disorders, Anti-Smoking Clinic, Pediatric Urology, Otolaryngology (ENT) Surgery Department and the Department of Dentistry.
The hospital's bed capacity has been enhanced with additional 48 beds through the optimal investment of the hospital's human resources and the continuous support it receives, adds the Affairs.
