According to Hail Health Affairs, over the past six months of this year (1440H.), Dr. Nasser Al-Rashid Eye Center served 17,576 outpatients.
“The center managed through increasing its bed-capacity to reduce the recorded waiting list of 200 cases, in terms of examining 140 patients and performing 71 Botox injections over one working week of last Rajab, 1440H. Also, the center reduced the appointment waiting lists of patients referred from primary healthcare centers from two months to just two weeks,” stated the Affairs.
On the other hand, the center has launched an initiative with Al Rajhi Charitable Foundation to perform 100 cross-linking procedures. Besides, the center has celebrated the World Sight Day at the region’s hospitals and some intermediate and secondary schools, in collaboration with the General Department of Education in Hail , in addition to the celebration of the World Glaucoma Week for one week.
