MOH Emphasizes the Importance of Quality Culture

​The Ministry of Health (MOH) has emphasized the importance of coping with the latest developments and consolidating the culture of quality in the health field in line with the health system initiatives to achieve the Saudi Vision 2030, through boosting the culture of quality, excellence and creativity, training employees on creative abilities and competencies, as well as implementing ideas and launching initiatives and transferring them into integrated professional projects.​

This came during the 3rd quality forum, which was launched today Sunday under the patronage of H. E. the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah. The forum is organized by MOH represented by the Patient Safety and Quality General Department under the title "Quality in the Age of Agility. MOH indicated that the quality of services it rendered during the recent period greatly contributed - thanks Allah - to obtaining King Abdulaziz Quality Award.

With the participation of a number of local and international specialists, the forum's sessions discussed a number of topics including: quality and performance application, quality and patient safety, risk management, life and patient experience, clinical review and patient safety. They discussed several issues about quality, governance and health facilities safety, as well as the experiences of relevant bodies. 

It is noteworthy that several governmental agencies participated in the forum, namely: the Saudi Central Board for Accreditation of Healthcare Institutions (CBAHI), Saudi Patient Safety Center (SPSC), King Faisal Specialist Hospital and Research Center (KFSH&RC), Security Forces Hospital (SFH) and King Abdulaziz Quality Award (KAQA). The participants also include experts and specialists from inside and outside the Kingdom.
