According to the Ministry of Health (MOH), a community partnership agreement was signed between the GCC Health Ministers Council and the Awareness Award «Wa3i». The award is one of MOH initiatives, which aims to encourage citizens and residents in GCC states and Yemen to participate in promoting health awareness with innovative materials, including short films, motion graphics, photography or infographic designs.
The award aims to motivate the community to adopt healthy lifestyle in order to boost prevention, to reduce the incidence of diseases and enhance the activity and professional productivity. Also, a special track was allocated for schools in the Kingdom, GCC states and Yemen to motivate teachers and students to compete for creating a healthy school environment through developing a healthy initiative.
According to the agreement, the award's products will be used for awareness purposes in the GCC states and Yemen, in addition to holding developmental workshops in all Gulf States to improve the skills of the participants in the award's different tracks.
It is noteworthy that the third season of Awareness Award «Wa3i» will be launched during this month, December, with a total cash prizes of more than one million riyals to over 50 winners. The award tracks include 3 prizes for winners with the highest audience votes.
