MOH Prepares to Launch Awareness Award «Wa3i» in Its 3rd Season 2019

​The Ministry of Health (MOH), in partnership with Health Council of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), is preparing to launch the third season of the Awareness Award «Wa3i» next December.  According to MOH, this award is one of its initiatives, which aims at raising health awareness of the community members, investing youth capabilities, and boosting partnership between the community and all those interested in health awareness across the Kingdom, GCC member states, and Yemen. 


“This season’s award allows individuals to participate in one of its different branches: short films, photography, infographics, motion graphics, in addition to another branch allocated this year for schools of GCC member states and Yemen.  A special award, based on voting of the public, will be granted for the top three winners. Also, over 50 winners will be awarded cash prizes of more than SR 1,0000,00, and the grand prize will be SR 150.000”, stated MOH.

It is worth mentioning that MOH seeks to be the body enhancing prevention and promoting health awareness; thus such awareness will be a key reason for leading a healthy life in the community. Increasing the average life expectancy from 74 to 80 years is one of MOH’s objectives under Saudi Vision 2030.
