According to Riyadh Health Affairs, over the past year, the hospitals of the region received 180,376 inpatients, and served 8,343,519 meals, with 2,953,998 for patients (at a rate of 8,345 per day) and 1,118,484 for their companions, in addition to other meals provided to nursing and on-duty staff.
