MOH Signs Cooperation Agreement between King Saud Medical City and Australian Alfred Hospital

In the presence of His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq Al-Rabiah, the Ministry of Health (MOH) signed today, Tuesday, a cooperation agreement between King Saud Medical City and Alfred Hospital of Australia, which is reckoned the world's leading university in the field of accidents, injuries and critical care. In addition to cooperation to provide a master program in accidents and injuries management by Monash University of Australia, one of the most important universities in the world. 
 
The cooperation aims to provide necessary medical and technical training and education by the Alfred Hospital, in order to contribute to establishing a first class center specialized in accidents in the Kingdom, through which a network of MOH's affiliated centers will be launched as the main core in case of accidents. 
 
The joint cooperation depends on five main axes which greatly and effectively involve in founding first class accidents and injuries center, locally and internationally. They include qualification of medical cadres on receiving accidents and injuries and methods of resuscitation, improvement of provided services in the field of accidents and injuries, training programs on receiving and treating accidents and injuries (subspecialties, fellowship, training programs, master degree), setting up an interconnected online network for registeration, referral of accident and injury cases and establishing a research center specialized in the field of accidents and injuries.
