1st Successful CABG Surgery Conducted to a Patient in Jazan

Jazan Health Affairs General Directorate has recently succeeded to conduct the first Coronary Artery Bypass Graft (CABG) Surgery to a patient in his sixties at the Consultancy Center of King Faisal Medical City (KFMC) for Southern Regions.
 
Within the same vein, Jazan Health Affairs General Directorate has pointed out that the patient, suffering from severe angina pectoris, has been hospitalized at Prince Mohammad bin Nasser Hospital (PMBNH). Then, his condition has been diagnosed as an obstruction of the Left Main Coronary Artery (LMCA). Thus, the medical team decided to conduct CABG surgery, and three arteries have been attached to the heart successfully. After that, the patient has been transferred to the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and his health condition is currently stable, May Allah be praised.
 
It is worth mentioning that the Consultancy Center affiliated to KFMC for the southern regions has recently been inaugurated at PMBNH in Jazan, by virtue of the mutual cooperation agreement signed between Jazan Health Affairs General Directorate and KFMC.
