MOH: ‘Vaccination Services at Homes Extended for Two Weeks Starting from Next Sunday’

In response to citizens’ requests and to highlight success of the initiative, the Ministry of Health (MOH) has approved the extension of Seasonal Flu Vaccination Service, implemented at home in collaboration with Careem Company, for two weeks starting from next Sunday, November 20th, 2016 (corresponding to Safar 20, 1438H). Besides, additional cities have been included; in an endeavor to cover the largest possible number of people targeted by vaccination.
 
The Ministry has announced on November 6th, 2016 (corresponding to Safar 6th, 1438H) launching this service to provide seasonal flu vaccine for beneficiaries at their homes, places of work, or wherever they are, for their convenience and as in continuation of the MOH’s endeavors to improve its health services and provide health care for citizens.
 
It went on adding that the applicant can get the service, via Careem App on smart phones, by selecting vaccination service, and then a vehicle will reach him with medical staff to offer him and his family the vaccination against seasonal flu, within a period from 04:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Furthermore, the MOH highlighted its keenness to listen to the opinions and comments of citizens to develop its health services provided to them.
