His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah, met today, Thursday, morning in Riyadh with His Excellency the Turkish Minister of Health, Prof. Dr. Recep Akdağ, currently visiting the Kingdom. The meeting discussed ways to reinforce cooperation between both countries, especially in the health domain.
Within the same vein, Akdağ highlighted the keenness of the Turkish Ministry of Health to achieve the cooperation and integration with the Saudi Ministry of Health (MOH) in all programs, meanwhile hoping that this visit will yield support for the aspects of health cooperation and achieve the optimal utilization of potentials of the two countries.
On the sideline of the visit, the Turkish health delegation has presented the Turkish experience in the health transformation in the primary health care domains, the institutional transformation of hospitals, and the transformation in financing health services. During a workshop organized by the MOH's Strategic Transformation Center, the Turkish experience in the implementation of partnership programs with the private sector has been outlined.
