MOH Pavilion at the Profession Week Exhibition Attracts Graduates Looking for Jobs

The Ministry of Health's (MOH) pavilion participating in the Profession Week Exhibition, which was held last week under the auspices of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques at King Saud University (KSU) in Riyadh, has attracted the attention of a large segment of university graduates, willing to work for the MOH in a number of health, technical and administrative specialties.
 
His Excellency the Deputy Minister of Health for Human Resources, Mr. Abdul-Hadi Al-Mansouri, highlighted that the MOH participated in the exhibition; with a view to providing the MOH employment opportunities in all regions of the Kingdom available for all youth of the country and not only in Riyadh, in addition to creating a fair and transparent environment in the process of selecting the competencies that the MOH is seeking to recruit and improve their performance later.
 
He added that the recruitment process is the first phase, which will be followed by the development and training phase, in collaboration with scientific centers, whether inside or outside the Kingdom, and with the Ministry of Education (MOE). “The exhibition is a good idea which provides job opportunities for the Saudi youth in various health specialties,” he said, adding: “After receiving the data of the students who applied at the MOH's pavilion, we will organize urgent workshops for the departments responsible for employment to conduct job interviews with the applicants, after which they will be employed on self-employment program at the MOH's hospitals during this year 1437H.  We will show such figures to the University, so as to create some sort of competitiveness between us and other sectors participating in the exhibition.”
 
For his part, the President Deputy of King Saud University for Educational and Academic Affairs and Head of the Supervisory Committee of the Profession Week Exhibition, Dr. Abdulaziz bin Abdullah Al-Othman has lauded the MOH Pavilion, saying: “The MOH's participation was so distinctive, whether in terms of its distinguished pavilion, or the concern shown for the applicants, the matter which confirmed the great turnout from all specialties. The MOH is thanked for such great effort, and I hope this event will produce actual job opportunities for the graduates.”
 
The Director of the MOH Self-Employment, Ayed Al-Harthy, has pointed out that the MOH’s participation in the Exhibition is meant to attract the distinctive competencies of graduates of universities, such as KSA, which is one of the prestigious universities that have experiences in all specialties.
 
He went on saying that the Agency of Human Resources decided to participate in the Exhibition, via the Self-Employment Programs General Department, which covers all hospitals in the Kingdom, medical cities, King Fahd Medical City (KFMC), King Saud Medical City (KSMC) and Prince Muhammad bin Abdulaziz Hospitals (PMAH). “The applicants for jobs of distinguished specialties are to be received at the MOH Pavilion, and then their data is to be recorded. After that, sorting of applications and interviews for the applicants are to be carried out; in an endeavor to recruiting the distinctive competencies at the MOH,” he added.
 
It is worth mentioning that the MOH Pavilion participating in the Profession Week Exhibition has recorded the data of more than 500 young people during the first days of the Exhibition, as a primary phase to recruit them in a number of health, technical and administrative job vacancies at the MOH health facilities.
