MOH Statement on Al-Ahsa Mosque Attack on Friday

In a statement on the vicious attack that took place on Friday on a mosque in Mehasin district of Al-Ahsa governorate, Al-Ahsa Health Affairs General Directorate has announced that the Ministry of Health’s (MOH) hospitals, National Guard Hospital, Saudi Aramco Hospital in Al-Ahsa and other private hospitals have received four deaths and 36 injured, most of them with minor injuries. The statement pointed out that 19 patients have been discharged from hospitals, while 17 others are still at hospitals receiving the proper treatment, and the vast majority of them are in stable condition, May Allah be praised.
 
The Directorate staff has extended sincere condolences to families of the deceased people, meanwhile praying for Al-Mighty Allah to bestow His mercy upon them and grant the injured with speedy recovery.
 
Within the same vein, the Directorate underlined that its Crisis and Emergency Department, immediately after the incident, declared a state of maximum alert with medical crews and emergency ambulances. It has contributed with its 25 emergency teams and field leaders, in collaboration with other concerned governmental bodies, to handling the incident.
 
Under the continuous follow-up of the MOH leaders, Al-Ahsa Health Affairs General Directorate has supervised the course of the event and made sure of providing the injured with all capabilities at the highest level of medical care.
