Eng. Al-Masoud Named Acting Deputy Minister of Health for Engineering Affairs

His Excellency the Acting Minister of Health, Eng. Adel bin Muhammad Faqih, has issued today a ministerial resolution mandating Eng. Abdullah bin Muhammad Al-Masoud to undertake the tasks and responsibilities, with all accredited authority, as the Acting Deputy Minister of Health for Engineering Affairs, starting from the date of the adoption of this resolution until the end of Eng. Ahmed bin Ali Al-Biez’s annual leave, which began on October 26th, 2014 (corresponding to Muharram 2nd, 1436H).

This resolution comes within the framework of the Acting Minister of Health’s keenness to keep on the MOH’s workflow, and achieve the requirements of the public interest in the best manner.

It is worth mentioning that Eng. Al-Masoud got his BA in Electrical Engineering Sciences from the University of Southern Mississippi, USA. In addition, he has 29 years of experience he spent in the medium, large and mega projects management, in the fields of construction, electricity, oil, petrochemicals and railway. During his career, he served in senior positions, through several major projects inside and outside the Kingdom; most notably, he served as general manager of the Two Holy Mosques High-Speed Train Project (from December 2013 to July 2014), and as project manager and Aramco representative in “Sadara” Petrochemicals Project (from 2009 to 2013), that is to be added to many other industrial and electrical projects inside the Kingdom.
