MOH Announces Start of Nomination for the Joint Program with Emory University, USA

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has announced start of receiving the applications for public health master program from its physicians willing to join the 5th batch of MOH joint program with Emory University, USA.
 
The Assistant Deputy Minister for Preventive Health, Dr. Abdullah Assiri, explained that the date of the initial acceptance will be on November 20th, 2014, corresponding to Muharram 27th, 1436 H. He added that MOH stipulated that the applicant to the program must be a Saudi, less than forty years old, and holder of Bachelor's Degree in medicine, and has completed the resident program, with a total grade point average (GPA) of not less than 6 in ILETS (or an equivalent grade in TOEFL); preference would be for those who have higher grades. Besides, the applicant is required to obtain initial approval from his work, pass the initial remote interview which will be conducted via video conferencing starting from November 20th up to December 5th, in addition to passing the preparatory session which will be held in the MOH Headquarters in Riyadh on the beginning of January 2015. Initially accepted candidates will be informed in due season.
 
Further, Dr. Assiri called upon those who are willing to join the program to swiftly send their documents and CVs, written in English, to the e-mail: emoafa@moh.gov.sa.  In the event of initial acceptance, the final documents will be required. It's to be noted that the final acceptance will be determined by Emory University by the end of April 2015.
