Dr. Sendi Named Deputy Chairman of Command and Control Center

His Excellency the Acting Minister of Health, Eng. Adel bin Mohamed Faqih, issued a decision appointing Dr. Anees Sendi as deputy chairman of Command and Control Center, and granting him all the administrative and financial authorities and powers which would enable him to perform his job.
 
The designation of Dr. Sendi comes in recognition of his experiences in the Command and Control Center, where he served as the head of the therapeutic services platform and as a member of the MOH's Scientific Advisory Council.
 
Dr. Sendi is reckoned one of the national medical competencies with vast and rich academic and professional experiences. After graduating from the Faculty of Medicine at King Abdul-Aziz University in Jeddah, he obtained the American and Canadian board in the internal medicine, respiratory diseases and intensive care. He has published many scientific articles and researches.
 
The decision of HE the minister stipulated granting Dr. Sendi, as the deputy chairman of the Command and Control Center, all the administrative and financial capacities enabling him to undertake his tasks assigned to him.
 
It's worth mentioning here that MOH launched the Command and Control Center several months ago, under the chairmanship of the His Excellency the Acting Minister of Health, with aim of controlling Coronavirus cases. The center represents a new permanent unit to protect community and raise degree of preparedness against any future health challenges and take proactive and swift measures against future public health challenges in the Kingdom, by way of the continuous coordination and monitoring.
