Fire Extinguishing Program Participates in the Hajj Season for the Second Consecutive Year

For the second consecutive year, the MOH's Fire Extinguishing and Rapid Intervention Vehicles and Equipments Program participates in the Hajj season; vehicles took their positions within the Holy Sites. It is worth mentioning that this step comes as part the measures taken by the Ministry to achieve security and safety for health facilities, personnel and visiting pilgrims.
 
It is noteworthy, besides, that safety vehicles were equipped to serve in fire extinguishing and rapid intervention. To that end, they have been provided with a number of fire extinguishers of different sizes and types in order to address all kinds of fires. They were also provided with the equipments of forcible entry, such as the iron scissors, the electrical wire shears, an iron hammer, a rubber hammer, an equipment to take off doors, a fire blanket, a first aid kit, a torch, a drum for breathing, and other safety equipments.
 
It should be noted that the utilization of these vehicles comes within the framework of the Fire Extinguishing and Safety Program implemented by MOH's Safety and Security General Department.
