60 Beds Prepared for Sunstroke Cases in Arafat Hospitals

The Ministry of Health (MOH) has expressed its keenness to treat sunstroke which pilgrims might expose to in Arafat. In this spirit, the ministry has prepared 60 beds for sunstroke cases in the hospitals of Arafat, including Namirah, East Arafat, Jabal Ar-Rahmah and Arafat hospitals. In addition, it has distributed special supplies for protection of pilgrims against sunstroke. Besides, it provided medical capabilities to deliver health services to the case once affected with sunstroke.
 
Meanwhile, MOH said that it has prepared the sunstroke rooms with high efficiency fans for the heat stress cases in addition to cooling devices. In addition, MOH has prepared a competent medical and technical team to deal with the sunstroke cases inside the hospitals and in the field.
 
Further, MOH said that it has allocated a bed for sunstroke cases in Arafat Hospital, 23 beds in East Arafat Hospital, 2 beds in Namirah Hospital and 34 beds in Jabal Ar-Rahmah Hospital, adding that this move comes within MOH keenness to deliver health services of high quality to the Guests of Allah.
