His Excellency the Vice Minister of Health for Health Affairs, Dr. Mansour bin Nasser Al-Howasi, met at his office today “Sunday” with His Excellency the Finnish Minister of Commerce and Economy, Mr. Jan Fabavori.
During the meeting, they exchanged the cordial talks, and discussed a number of issues of mutual interest; notably enhancing ways of promoting health cooperation, and exchanging the cadres in the fields of research and studies between the friendly countries. Dr. Al-Howasi further discussed with his guest the ongoing and comprehensive developmental mobility in the Ministry of Health (MOH), through its five medical and executive cities' projects; that is to be added to establishing 138 facilities to increase the bed-capacity to 60000 beds and building and equipping more than 600 primary health care centers.
Within the same vein, Dr. Al-Howasi reviewed the curative and preventive services, especially after eradication of some epidemic diseases such as polio, and the increase of the expected Saudi age average up to 75 years old.
