A Training Course on Hajj Common Diseases

The Mina Al-Share' Al-Jadeed Hospital organized yesterday morning the Annual Training Course on Hajj Common Diseases and Handling of Emergency Cases, in cooperation with the Hajj Technical Supervision Committee  at the Ministry of Health (MOH).
 
It is worth mentioning that the course aims to activate the role of the anti-infection and sterilization programs during the pilgrimage season of this year (1434H) and to train the health professionals on this important program. The course is expected to last for three days.
 
The Director of Mina Al-Share' Al-Jadeed Hospital, Dr. Khaled Mohammed Al-Shahrani, pointed out that the course is designed for physicians and nurses, adding that more than 30 trainees are participating in this course.
 
Furthermore, Dr. Al-Shahrani noted that the course focuses on several axes, including disinfection of hands, cleanliness of the environment, isolation of the infectious diseases, anti-pollution norms, as well as safety and occupational safety.
 
The course also covers the personal protective requirements, and the ways of re-processing tools and items. It is noteworthy that the course was supplied with certified educational hours by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties.
 
This course targets synergies and unification of strategies to control diseases, in terms of epidemiological surveillance and early diagnosis.
