His Excellency the Minister of Health Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, has approved the scarcity allowance for the Saudi laboratories doctors specialized in the fields of microbiology and clinical chemistry after meeting all regulations and providing a certificate from the laboratory Department proving their technical exercise.
According to the approval, the specialty of microbiology falls under the specialty of biological particleswhich included within those eligible for scarcity allowance in the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Civil Service at a percentage of 20% for the consultant physician, and 15% for the resident doctor.
While the specialty of the clinical chemistry falls under the specialty of toxicology andlegitimate chemistryincluded within those eligible for scarcity allowance in the decision of His Excellency the Minister of Civil Service at a percentage of 20% for the consultant physician, and 15% for the resident doctor.
This was pointed out by the MOH Spokesman, Dr. Khalid Marghalani, indicating that this approval comes within the framework of the keenness of the Ministry of Health (MOH) to encourage its employees, provide a suitable environment for them to perform the tasks entrusted to them, as well as motivating them to exert more effort in order to serve patients and beneficiaries of its health facilities services.
