Dr. Al-Yamani Thanks King Abdullah for Allocation of SR 15 Billion for Health Services

The Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Health Economics, Dr. Mohamed bin Rashid Al-Yamani, has expressed his deep thanks for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as His Royal Highness the Crown Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, and His Royal Highness the Second Deputy Prime Minister, Prince Muqrin bin Abdulaziz, due to the allocation of SR 15.1 billion for constructing 22 health projects, comprising 19 medical complexes and hospitals, and 3 centers for children's behavioral and growth disorders, the first of their kind to be establish in the Kingdom, offering a high-standard level of care and treatment for patients suffering from Autism and Hyperactivity.
 
Dr. Al-Yamani has also lauded the decision of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques of expropriating a range of parcels for constructing some health projects on them as well as his approval of adopting a range of developmental projects for MOH facilities, pointing out that, such efforts brought welfare and prosperity for the boys and girls of the Kingdom of humanity.
 
“I would like to laud the gracious financial support paid to health services, in a manner that provides comprehensive healthcare for citizens,” said Dr. Al-Yamani.
 
“The great financial support presented to health services,” added Dr. Al-Yamani, “underscores the continuous directives and unlimited support paid by our Ruler towards the development of health services all over the regions of the Kingdom. Such directives included the approval of constructing an enterprise for health investments owned by the General Investment Fund as well as discussing the details of this enterprise, including its economic feasibility, objectives, activities and the mechanism of its action between the Public Investment Fund and the Ministry of Health, to be submitted to King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, along with the results achieved in the light of the Law of the Public Investment Fund.”
 
Dr. Al-Yamani mentioned, “This gracious support comes as part of the continuous directives and unlimited heed paid to the Ministry of Health (MOH) by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, as well as His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and His Royal Highness the Second Deputy Prime Minister, May Allah protect them. In the same vein, these directives will lead to qualitative and quantitative leap in the curative and preventive health services provided by the MOH for citizens and residents in all regions and governorates of the Kingdom.”
 
In conclusion, Dr. Al-Yamani was quoted as saying, “The Ministry of Health witnesses currently a developmental leap that aims to improve the level of health services, in a manner that achieves the aspirations of the Rulers, meets the wishes of citizens and patients and gains their satisfaction.”
