The Crown Prince Thanks the Minister of Health and MOH Employees for Obtaining 15 JCI Certificates

His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, has expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation for His Excellency the Minister of Health, as well as all the Ministry of Health employees for their great efforts and achievements in MOH hospitals as they obtained the accreditation of the Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation Standards for 15 health facilities as an accreditation for achieving the globally highest level of quality. The last achievement was for King Saud Medical City (KSMC) in Riyadh in 11/3/1434 H, corresponding to 23/1/2013. In addition, 50 hospitals have obtained the local accreditation certificate of the Central Board for Accreditation of Health Institutions (CBAHI), whereas 40 hospitals are under assessment.
In his letter to His Excellency the Minister of Health, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince said: “We extend our thanks to you and to all the employees of the Ministry for the great efforts, and we wish you all the best of luck and success.”
His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin AbdulAziz Al–Rabeeah, appreciated this generous gesture of the Crown Prince; which indicates the immense keenness and continuous support of His Highness for the health sector. The Minister underscored that all MOH employees are sincerely working hard to promote the performance of the health sector to meet the highest global standards; in order to meet the aspirations of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, his Royal Highness the Crown Prince, and his Royal Highness the Second Deputy – may Allah protect them – to serve citizens of this country to meet their health needs in a way contributing to qualify the health services offered complying with the National Project for Integrated and Comprehensive Health Care that guarantees the principles of equity, inclusiveness and easy accessibility in distributing health services.
