The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the Ministry of Health (MOH), has won the First Place of the Gulf Excellence Award in Health Media, televised awareness SMS branch. This contest is organized by GCC Council of Health Ministers in the branches of press article, awareness poster and televised awareness SMS.
In the same vein, MOH has gained the third place in the awareness posters branch through the participation of Dr. Ibtisam Al-Radwan from the Health Affairs General Directorate in the Eastern Region. Besides, MOH Media Center has won the first and third places in the branch of televised SMS. However, Ms. Hayam Al-Mefleh from Al-Riyadh Newspaper has gained the third place in the press article branch.
It is worth mentioning that this contest aims to promote the spirit of innovation and creativity among employees and those interested in health awareness and health media at the level of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), as well as encouraging the innovators to contribute to the health promotion and prevention, by affecting individuals and society groups and directing them to adopt the proper healthy behaviors.
