Upon the approval of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, is to lead the Saudi delegation to the Emergency Meeting of the Council of Arab Health Ministers. The meeting is to be held at the headquarters of LAS Secretariat in Cairo on Thursday morning, 13/12/ 2012 (corresponding to 29/1/1434 H).
The meeting aims to take an urgent decision to provide all forms of health and humanitarian support quickly to Gaza people, in view of the health and humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip; due to the Israeli attacks and the acute shortage of medicines and medical supplies therein.
The MOH Spokesman, Dr. Khaled Marghalani, pointed out that the Saudi delegation comprises the MOH Undersecretary of Supply and Engineering Affairs, Dr. Salah bin Fahd Al-Mazrou, the Supervisor-General of MOH International Relations, Dr. Afaf bint Semihan Al-Shamri, and the Assistant Director General for Emergency, Mr. Suleiman bin Ahmad Al-Sharie‘.
