His Excellency, Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, met today at his office with the Resident Representative of the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), Mr. Asser Ahmed Toson.
During the meeting, Dr. Al-Rabeeah discussed the most significant programs provided by the UNFPA for the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), and how to maintain partnership and cooperation with the Fund; especially with regard to the programs targeted to youth, such as the Anti-AIDS Program, and combating smoking.
This partnership, the Minister added, should also extend to the field of reproductive health. In order for this to be brought into reality, he recommended finding a mechanism for achieving such aims, in coordination with the Ministry's departments and programs.
