Under the patronage of the Deputy Minister of Executive Affairs for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Mansour Al Hawasi, Home Health Care Program General Supervisor, Dr. Nasser Al Hezaim, will open the 1st training course for Home Health Care Program activities on Saturday 25th of September 2010 which will last for 5 days.
Such training course is allocated for the Program managers in Health Affairs areas. The Course covers topics related directly to the activities provided by the working medical teams in the Program to provide health services for patients in their homes. These services include chronic diseases, geriatrics, clinical ulceration, neural system problems, brain strokes, respiration care, tubular feeding, physiotherapy, rehabilitative treatment, mental and social care. In addition of presenting high communication skills and techniques with patients while presenting such services.
A variety of instructors and medical specialist from specialized hospitals and health centers related to the Ministry and other health sectors will present these training courses and workshops.
Moreover, such courses (20 hours training course) are approved by the Saudi Organization for Health Specialties and will be implemented in Jeddah, Al Madinah and Al Dammam in order to cover all Kingdom's areas.
