MOH Sign Organ Transplant Training Agreement with Japanese Group

With the presence of Ministry of Health Executive Affairs Deputy, Dr. Mansour Al Hawasi, Ministry of Health has signed today an agreement with the specialized Kobe World Medical Companies in Japan, in the field of organ transplant. Where the Saudi part was represented during the signing by Assistant Undersecretary for Curative Medicine, Dr. Aqeel Al Ghamdi, while the Japanese part was represented by Kobe World Medical Manager Prof. Tanaka Kwigy. Both of Saudi Arabia Ambassador to Japan, Dr. Abdulaziz Turkistani and Ambassador of Japan to Saudi Arabia, Mr. Shigeru Endo attended the event.
 
Dr. Al Hawasi assured in a press statement after signing the agreement, that this agreement is an extension of many agreements signed by MOH with distinguished and specialized international centers to train Saudi staff in various fields, which is beneficial for Saudi patients. This agreement includes specialized MOH hospitals that are symbolized by King Fahad Specialist Hospital, Dammam.
 
Moreover, he added that the agreement states training Saudi staff on new techniques related to the field of organs transplant, information exchange, scientific reports and educational materials in order to support and enhance programs of organs transplant, strength communication, cooperating between MOH and the center in addition to improving mutual researches, scientific publications and technical and evaluative cooperation.
 
This is by setting mutual programs and methods between both sides in addition to facilitate exchanging specialists and scientists visits.
