Al-Mane Patronizes Medical Show

The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Mane is to patronize the activities of the Second Saudi Medical Exhibition, which is organized by the Al-Motamar Co. for Public Relations at Al-Jiraisi Hall, during the period from 21 to 23/04/2008, under the supervision of the MOH General Directorate of Medical Equipment.
The MOH Director General of Medical Equipment Eng. Khalid Al-Qasabi said MOH participation in the show comes in line of its keenness to present the latest medical technologies used for providing the best health services to both citizens and residents through its health utilities in the different parts of the Kingdom. He said MOH also aims through its participation to encourage both government and public sectors to make use of the best medical technologies in providing their health services.
According to Dr. Al-Qasabi, participant companies from inside and outside the Kingdom will cover the fields of medical equipment, medical labs, emergency and relief, medical rehabilitation and synthetic organs, medical supplies, medical furniture, medical consumables, hospital equipment, surgery tools, medical garments, ambulances, and special vehicles.
He said the MOH General Directorate of Medical Equipment carries out the responsibilities of promoting the quality of services, providing the best health services to citizens and residents, and securing the latest medical and non-medical equipment.
For attaining the above purposes the General Directorate of Medical Equipment formulate the terms and specifications for supplying the medical and non-medical equipment, provides technical analyses for submitted biddings, follows up supply, replacement and operation works, makes sure that submitted equipment match the set standards, participates in the studies relative to equipment validity, and prepares price guides for securing future needs.
