Al-Mane Heads Saudi Health Delegation to Cairo

The Minister of Health Dr. Hamad bin Abdullah Al-Mane will head the Saudi delegation participating in the meeting of the 114th session of the Council of the Arab Ministers of Health, which will be held in Cairo on 30/12/1428H, being 09/01/2007.
 
The MOH official spokesman Dr. Khalid M. Al-Marghalani said the meeting will review the achievement and follow up reports of His Highness the President of the Executive Office. He said the meeting will also review the report of the 18th meeting of the Board of the Arab Health Development Fund, in addition to a number of other technical issues such as the Arab project for improving the quality of health facilities, the Arab Council for Nursing and Midwifery, the Arab Council for Nursing Specialties, the Arabic Commission for Blood Transfusion Services, and health management and planning. According to Al-Marghalani, the meeting agenda also includes other issues relative to unification of Arab efforts in health relative fields, including the unified speech of the Council of Health Ministers in front of the WHO General Assembly, the Joint Declaration of the GCC Health Ministers on diabetes, the best Arabic health project award, preparation for the Arabic economic, developmental, and social summit, and improving the works and regulations of the Council of the Arab Health Ministers.
 
The delegation also includes the MOH Undersecretary for Planning and Development Dr. Obeid Al-Obeid, the MOH Director General of Medical and Pharmaceutical Licenses Dr. Ali Al-Zawawi, and the MOH Assistant Supervisor of International Health Dr. Taha Millibari.
