"Riyadh Medical Complex (RMC) is keen to participate in all events aiming at boosting health awareness among both medical workers and patients", Dr. Abdul Aziz Moustafa, RMC Deputy General Supervisor was quoted as saying during a ceremony organized by RMC Social Service Department yesterday. "This event is an endevour to highlight the role of social service and upgrade social awareness of our social specialists ", he said.
He said the RMC Social Service Department is aware of the many important roles assigned to it. "Social servants provide help and analyze social, psychological and physical status of patients", he said. "Considering social service a basic element of medical treatment, social specialists treat the social difficulties affecting patients. They also participate in health awareness efforts".
"The role of social servants is based on the fact that a healthy human is the one who is healthy from all social, psychological and physical aspects", he said. "Therefore, social servants assist medical staff for attaining this goal".
The ceremony involved offering memorial and appreciation gifts to sponsors and participants. The scientific program then started with two lectures, the first by Dr. Abdul Aziz Al-Dakhil and the second by Dr. Abdullah Al-Fowzan.
