Dr. Mohammed Hamzah Khushaim, Deputy Minister for Planning and Development expressed his deepest condolences and sincere sympathy to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Second Deputy Premier and Interior Minister Prince Naif bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the royal family and the Saudi people, for the death of H.R.H. the Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General.
Dr. Khushaim said "Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz – Allah bless his soul – was a symbol of humanitarian and social work and modern charity thought embodied by Sultan bin Abdudlaziz Al Saud Foundation that was established by an order of the Prince on 1995 and it has been supported financially by him since then. The Foundation provides many services including, social welfare, health care, comprehensive rehabilitation services for people with special needs and the elderly; in addition to the outstanding activities in support of research in the field of human and medical services, and technical sciences, in collaboration with worldwide prestigious research centers, Dr. Khushaim added.
"The late prince sultan was a generous supporter and eminent patron of health sector in the kingdom and he considered it a high priority in the overall development taking place in our beloved Kingdom.
He supported the Ministry of Health with many heart centers, which have benefited thousands of patients in various regions and governorates of the Kingdom, and this centers currently provide the specialized finest health services for those in need, Dr. Khushaim said.
"May Almighty Allah grant eternal peace to his departed soul and grant us patience and fortitude to bear this irreversible loss", he added.
