Overview:
Awareness of the World Myopia Week takes place from May 23-28 annually as a symbol for reminding people of the importance of examination and treatment and educating the community against complications of myopia, as some newborns suffer from a state of increasing myopia, and this means that their vision may worsen over time if not corrected.
Objectives:
- Urging the community to the importance of examination and treatment
- Educating the community against complications of myopia
- Knowledge of myopia causes
