The healthcare provision in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is witnessing continuous development based on the teachings of Islamic law and social ethics that determine ways of dealing humanely and morally with service seekers, and we strive to be role a model for others.
Through the role of the Patient Experience Centre in supporting the patient's rights and clarifying his/her responsibilities, we have worked hard to develop the Patient Rights and Responsibilities Document in cooperation with healthcare providers, bearing in mind the human, social and national rights and duties guaranteed by the individual system to improve the content of the service provided, increase the trust of patients in health facilities and strengthen the service between all staff members.
Based on our belief in the patient's rights, empowerment, and participation in decisions that support and improve the service provided, we have committed ourselves to clarify the rights that the patient must have, as well as the responsibilities that he bears towards the facility, in a simplified manner to ensure the message is delivered with ease and comfort to all segments of society to achieve the prescribed goals.
