Dr. Al-Rabeeah: “This Year's Budget Will Contribute to Boosting the Health Sector”

His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, declared that “the gracious support attached by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, May Allah protect him, to the health sector highlights the great interest and constant keenness of the country to provide health care for all its citizens, and to maintain their health and safety, as well as meeting their health needs.”
 
On his own account and on behalf of the health sector staff, Dr. Al-Rabeeah has extended his deepest, loftiest and most sincere thanks and gratitude to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and his Royal Highness the Crown Prince, May Allah save them, on the occasion of the issuance of the auspicious budget for the year 1435/1436 H. Dr. Al-Rabeeah pointed out that this budget, including appropriations of health projects, will contribute, Allah Willing, to giving impetus to the health work in our beloved Kingdom, the matter which will have a great impact on the development of health services and upgrading the performance level at health facilities. This, in turn, will be reflected on the citizen with fruitful results, and everyone will be so happy of the medical achievements that will be achieved.
 
Dr. Al-Rabeeah went on adding: “In implementation of the gracious directives of the king, the Ministry of Health (MOH) regards the issue of citizen’s health as a top priority, and seeks to serve him and gain his satisfaction, as well as improving the health services provided to him, in a way living up to the ambitions of the Rulers and providing the appropriate health care for citizens. Moreover, MOH has operated 15 hospitals over the last year, adding 3,450 beds all over the Kingdom’s regions. It also intends, Allah willing, to inaugurate a group of hospitals and medical towers, that will add 8.160 beds, aside from a set of specialized centers and health facilities, including three cardiac centers, three oncology centers. Besides, the establishment of 93 primary health care centers and the implementation of two medical cities in the Northern and Southern Regions are underway, in addition to the tenders of two cities will be offered, Allah Willing, in Makkah and the Eastern Region.”
 
Within the same vein, Dr. Al-Rabeeah has underscored that the Ministry and all its employees are so keen on serving patients and the investment with optimal use of the MOH portions in the state budget, in line with the National Project for Integrated and Comprehensive Health Care, which achieves the principles of justice, equality and inclusiveness in the distribution of health services, as well as the easy access to them all over the Kingdom’s regions and governorates.
 
His Excellency the Minister of Health concluded his statement by praying for Almighty Allah to protect the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Royal Highness the Crown prince and His Royal Highness the Second Deputy Prime Minister, to perpetuate our Kingdom's safety and stability, to help us achieve our wishes, and to make all of our deeds sincere for Him Almighty.
