Dr. Zamakhshari Meets the Canadian Deputy Minister of International Trade

The Assistant Deputy Minister of Health for Planning and Training, Dr. Muhammad Zamakhshari, has received at his ministerial office today morning, the Canadian Deputy Minister of International Trade, Mr. Simon Kennedy, the Canadian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Thomas McDonald and a number of senior officials.
During the meeting, they discussed a number of important issues of mutual concern to both countries, ways to activate the health programs between the two sides, increasing the number of physicians trained in Canada, and strengthening the cooperation with the Canadian educational hospitals, as well as attracting the Canadian competencies for training inside the Kingdom.
 
The Meeting was attended by the Director General of MOH International Relations, Ph. Hessa Al-Mutairi, the Commercial Counselor and Chief Canadian Trade Commissioner, Mr. Jordan Reeves, Head of the Saudi Center for Evidence Based Health Care (EBHC), Dr. Zulfa Al-Rayyes, the Deputy Director of Planning and Training at King Fahd Medical City (KFMC), Dr. Wissam Abu Zinada and Dr. Nihal Arafat from KFMC.
