Praise be to Allah for his countless blessings. Allah the Almighty has blessed us with the safe return of our beloved leader, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz, following his successful surgery abroad.
Across the nation, the people express their joy and gratitude for the King's safe return. Our love and loyalty rightly belong to a man who sacrifices his health and personal resources for the benefit of the entire nation. We trust that he will lead the Kingdom to even greater progress and prosperity in the future, with the invaluable support of Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdul Aziz, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General, and Prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud, Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Interior. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques successfully continues the journey towards the wellbeing and prosperity of all - a journey initiated by the Founder of the Kingdom, King Abdul Aziz Bin Abdul Rahman Al Saud, may God rest his soul. Our King has greatly enhanced the Kingdom’s international reputation, thanks to his efforts towards developing a stable foreign policy based on Islamic teachings. He continues to oversee the building of a thriving economy through a variety of progressive projects, all of which have created many new employment opportunities; these projects include the establishment of industrial and economic cities, as well as the creation of investment and financial centers and loan funds.
Health services in the Kingdom are, of course, of vital interest to our leadership. The Kingdom’s progress towards providing high-quality health services to all of its citizens spans all areas of care, including preventive, diagnostic and curative services. This impressive progress has been recognized by many international health bodies, including the World Health Organization, which ranked the Kingdom right alongside developed nations, both in terms of the quality of applied medical care systems and the advanced levels of available health services.
Directives from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, His Highness the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier will upgrade the health sector in ways which will address the needs of all citizens. The Ministry of Health is dedicated to providing high-quality health services, and we are confident that our plans to enhance the existing system will be realized with the generous support of our leadership.
I pray that Allah the Almighty will bless and protect our King, the Crown Prince and the Second Deputy Premier, and that He will guide them along a path that guarantees the future security and development of our country.
