His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, received this morning, at his office, a number of children from the Orphan Welfare Society “Insan”, accompanied by the Assistant Director-General of the Society, Mr. Abdullah Al-Khaledi. Dr. Al-Rabeeah welcomed the delegation, and gave directives to the Deputy Minister for Health Affairs, Dr. Mansour Al-Howasi, to coordinate with the society respecting the provision of health care for the society's children, so as to receive their treatment at the MOH facilities.
For his part, the Assistant Director-General of the Society made a presentation of the society's activities, programs and services provided for orphans. He also gave voice to the society's wish to sign a memorandum of understanding with MOH concerning the treatment of the society staff's offspring. Dr. Al-Rabeeah welcomed the proposal, and gave orders to study it, and find a proper mechanism for its implementation.
It followed that the society's children handed over a memorial shield to His Excellency the Minister of Health, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabeeah, in recognition of his colossal efforts in supporting the society.
It is worth mentioning that the meeting was attended by His Excellency the Deputy Minister for Health Affairs, Dr. Mansour Al-Howasi, and His Excellency the Deputy Minister for Planning and Development, Dr. Mohammed Khushaim.
