As part of the Health Endowment Fund’s efforts to contribute effectively to health development in the Kingdom, the Fund has financed, through the sixth grants program, 26 private health associations distributed in various regions of the Kingdom to provide health services to more than 3,000 beneficiaries across the Kingdom. The funded projects amounted to 26 projects.
The Fund’s CEO, Dr. Ibrahim bin Suleiman Al-Haidari, explained that the Fund is keen to adopt qualitative initiatives that contribute to providing health services to the most vulnerable groups across the Kingdom. He pointed out that the most prominent supported projects include the rehabilitation project for addicts, the project to provide home medical devices, and the breast and colon cancer screening initiative.
The Fund seeks, through these initiatives, to enable private health associations to provide health services to the most vulnerable groups, based on its basic foundations that include rapid response, flexibility of movement, and partnership with the community.
It is worth noting that the Health Endowment Fund is an independent fund launched by a Cabinet decision in 1440 AH. It aims to build a model for a health endowment capable of contributing to facing health challenges, facilitating and activating the efforts of community components to contribute to them, and reducing their effects through qualitative and sustainable initiatives.
