According to Madinah Health Cluster, over the first half of this year (2022), Madinah hospitals have served 280,501 patients. “King Salman bin Abdulaziz Medical City has served 24,141 emergencies and 22,829 outpatients, in addition to performing 1,300 surgeries,” stated the Health Cluster.
It added that Maternity and Children Hospital of King Salman bin Abdulaziz Medical City has served 125,533 patients, with 74,756 outpatients, in addition to performing 4,372 surgeries.
Furthermore, the Specialized Psychiatric Hospital has served 16,027 patients, with 12,226 outpatients, as well as dispensing 23,183 medical prescriptions. Also, the Medical Rehabilitation Hospital has served 4,989 outpatients, with 1,789 beneficiaries of prosthetic limbs, in addition to conducting 28,159 physiotherapy sessions.
