The Ministry of Health (MOH) has reiterated the importance of taking the second dose of the COVID-19 vaccine as the only to controlling variants and raising the level of immunity after the first dose.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 42 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been recorded in the Kingdom over the past 24 hours; thus bringing the total number to 547,221 confirmed cases, including 193 critical cases.
In addition, 55 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 536,281 recoveries. Also, 3 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 8,722. MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
