The Ministry of Health (MOH) has emphasized that COVID-19 infection increases and spreads rapidly during social gatherings, and advised everyone to adhere to precautionary measures, including maintaining social distancing and wearing a face mask; to stop the spread of the virus.
According to MOH's latest statistics, 1,269 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been reported over the past 24 hours in the Kingdom; thus bringing the total number to 468,175 confirmed cases, including 10,314 active cases and 1,569 critical cases.
In addition, 1,014 new recoveries have been recorded, bringing the total number to 450,255 recoveries. Also, 16 new deaths have been reported; bringing the total deaths to 7,606, May Allah bestow His mercy upon them.
MOH has also advised everyone to contact 937-Service Center for any consultation and inquiries around the clock, obtaining reliable health information and services, as well as knowing the latest development of COVID-19.
