The Ministry of Health (MOH), in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MOE), continues to activate the School-based Screening Campaign for school students (male and female students of the first and fourth primary grades). Hence, MOH has called on all parents to take their children to screening clinics of the nearest healthcare center, after booking an appointment through the Central Appointment System «Mawid» App.
It is noted that this School-based Screening Program plays an important role in the prevention and early detection of malnutrition, medical history, and dental, vision and hearing problems, in addition to sideways curvature of the spine «scoliosis» and Body Mass Index (BMI).
