King Fahad General Hospital- Madinah has inaugurated today (Monday) a prosthetics unit at the medical rehabilitation department. The new section’s service is comprehensive with treatment options tailored to the requirements of patients with upper or lower limb loss. The unit provides treatment methods and plans to mitigate the disability.
The unit also aims to enable the patients to perform their daily activities comfortably and to reform the deformities resulting from injuries and congenital malformation, as well as raising their awareness about wearing prosthetics such as: back belt, knee ligament support, and others
