According to Madinah Health Affairs, over the past month (Shawwal), King Fahd General Hospital (KFGH) received 644 referrals from the region’s hospitals, including 110 life-saving cases and 171 emergencies transferred by ambulances. Also, the adult ICU occupancy rate was 97% over the same month.
It is worth mentioning that King Fahd General Hospital-Madinah with a 500-bed capacity is the first reference hospital in the region. The hospital provided its integrated health services in a wide range of specialties, including neurosurgery, general surgery, gastrointestinal endoscopy, nephrology, physiotherapy, orthopedics, and other delicate medical specialties.
