MOH: More Than 60 Training Programs Implemented by Najran Health Affairs Directorate over the Past Four Months

The Ministry of Health (MOH) stated that more than 60 training programs have been implemented at Najran Health Affairs General Directorate over the first third of the current year (1438H). The Center for Continuing Medical Education (CME) has implemented 22 programs of them over 33 training days. These programs, accredited by the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties (SCHS) with 228 CME hours, targeted all health practitioners, as the total number of trainees exceeded 1.320 persons, while the total number of training courses held outside the region amounted to 40 courses over 120 days, and benefited a number of 85 trainees. Besides, the approaches of life-saving and critical cases treatment implemented a number of 38 courses, including “BCLS-ACLS-ATLS” Course, benefiting a number of 896 trainees.
 
Within the same vein, the Ministry has pointed out that Najran Health Affairs General Directorate has received a number of 525 fe/male trainees from graduates of the universities, health colleges (public and private), and other educational establishments outside the Kingdom, in addition to SCHS classification requests.
