Swedish Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Mr. Jan Thesleff Wishes the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz quick recovery and a soon come back to the Kingdom after a recent treatment trip.
This was stated in his speech in the (Symposium of introducing Sweden health care system and the possibility of establishing a partnership with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the health field) that was sponsored and held by Executive Affairs Deputy Minister, Dr. Mansour Al Hawasi Tuesday night.
Mr.Thesleff praised the remarkable health development in the Kingdom in addition to the current economic renaissance, where other countries suffer from an economic deceleration due to the global economic crisis. He stated that Riyadh city buildings are not any buildings; they are buildings with various economic activities.
He expressed his country's wish to increase its contribution in this renaissance especially in the health sector due to the advanced health expertise in his country, that rank it within health developed countries. Sweden is considered the first regarding health incomings according to the Performance Evaluation of the European Healthcare 2008-2009.
The symposium was attended on the Saudi side by the Ministry of Health Preventive Medicine Deputy, Dr. Ziad Memish, Consultant of the Minister of Health, Dr.Hisham Nadira and MOH official spokesman Dr. Khalid M. Al-Marghalani .While on the Sweden side, the Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Mr. Jan Thesleff and a number of health services specialized Sweden companies managers.
The Sweden group delivered a number of lectures via visual presentations about various health related fields, services and techniques that can be provided by Sweden. President of Bactiguard Middle East & Africa, Mr. Peter Martensson talked about the Sweden experience in combating infections and its efficiency in eliminating the 4th death reason in the western regions and developing countries; hospital infections. In addition, EMEA Scitra Company Business Manager, Mr. Lars Ericsson mentioned the latest X-ray techniques.
Moreover, Asemia Jumbo Company Marketing Director, Mr. Pascal Bernard talked about using information technology in renal dialysis. In addition, the president of Scandinavian Quality Care, Mr. Johan Wikander discussed using a new management methodology in running hospitals to have an advanced sustainable health care. The symposium was concluded by the Head of Life Sciences at Invest Sweden, Mr. Peter Bramberg listing the Centers of scientific excellence and how it's the core of Sweden life related sciences.
