Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Setting strategies, regulations and specifications for provided curative services, in line with the latest developments and achievements and promoting the integration of the activities of the departments involved in providing curative services, within the MOH’s significant services. 
  • Supervising, managing and coordinating all curative service affairs to ensure service quality.
  • Developing work systems by proposing curative policies and assessing professional competence to provide safe services.
  • Reviewing and updating curative services strategies and following up their implementation, ensuring social justice and keeping pace with scientific developments.
  • Conducting periodic inspection and assessment visits.
  • Following up the availability of curative services and equipment.
  • Promoting and developing the nursing profession and nursing services.
  • Raising health education and promoting healthy lifestyles according to Islamic guidelines.
  • Following up the implementation of the standards of promoting food safety.
  • Promoting mental, psychological, and social health services.
  • Following up the availability of safe and effective medicine and controlling its usage according to international standards.​​
