World Hearing Day

Overview: 
The World Hearing Day is an annual global event that takes place on the 3rd of March every year. It aims to raise awareness of hearing loss, promote ear and hearing care, and call for action to address hearing loss, and other relevant problems. Hearing loss has often been called an invisible disability, not only because of a lack of visible symptoms, but also because it has long been stigmatized in local communities, in addition to going ignored by policy makers.
It is noted that the World Hearing Day 2022 with the theme «To hear for life, listen with care» will focus on the importance and means of hearing loss prevention through safe listening.
