Millions of infection prevention and control professionals across the world will join in activities commemorating International Infection Prevention Week (IIPW) from October 17-23 this year, highlighting the importance of focusing on infection control activities and applying them in health care centers to prevent infection transmission.

  • Effective infection prevention reduces health care-associated infections by 30%.
  • Patient has the right to inquire about the health facilities' infection prevention methods and ask healthcare providers to clean their hands.

  • Improving behavior and achieving safer and higher-quality healthcare practices.
